Very solid piece with gorgeous colors and a unique shape.
The thickness of the glass gives me confidence that should I drop my HL Opals in Fairyland bendy lock bowl, it’ll probably be just fine. Having such solid glass also insulates and prevents the piece from getting too hot to handle, I never have that problem with this bowl. It’s also got a nice weight to it that feels good to hold.
I love the colors in this design; they’re best seen in sunlight or bright light but are still well visible indoors. Even when it gets dirty the colors still shine. The opal is cool to look at, I love that detail.
The shape is awesome! It fits nicely in my hand and the bend keeps residue away from the mouthpiece. It sits up nicely on its flat base and is kind of like a mini sculpture sitting on my tray.
The price point was affordable and fair, and reflects the artistry and quality materials and work. This is my third piece from HL and I’ve been blown away by the craftsmanship and integrity of the artist with each addition. Highly recommended.
